Greegoo Launches Industry-First 400A 2.5kV Ultra-Fast Vacuum Contactor Breaks Performance Barriers

Greegoo proudly announces the successful development and immediate commercial launch of the world’s fastest high-voltage vacuum contactor in its class: the CNF-400A/2.5kV ultra-fast vacuum contactor.


Key breakthrough specifications that dramatically outperform all current competitors:

  • Rated current: 400A continuous
  • Rated voltage: 2.5kV
  • Bounce time: 0ms
  • Closing time: ≤ 4ms (competitors typically ≤ 10–15ms)
  • Power frequency withstand voltage: 10kV (twice the industry standard of 5kV)

The unprecedented ≤4ms closing time and 10kV dielectric strength make the CNF-400A/2.5kV the ideal bypass switch solution for high-inrush applications such as capacitor bank switching, transformer inrush mitigation, reactor switching, and hybrid transfer switches where conventional contactors are simply too slow and too weak.


When used as a bypass switch behind an SCR or IGBT solid-state switch, our ultra-fast vacuum contactor closes in under 4 milliseconds and takes over the load with virtually zero transition time while withstanding 10kV surges that would destroy ordinary contactors. Customers now get the speed of solid-state devices combined with the long-life, low-loss advantages of vacuum technology.
