Series Examples: TZ-8, CWL, CSA, CLS, CHL

Key Features:​ Rugged metal or high-strength plastic housings, Waterproof and oil-proof (Protection Rating IP65 or IP67), long mechanical life, built to withstand harsh industrial environments (e.g., machine tools, production lines).

Purpose:​ Mounted on machines to detect when a moving part (like a robotic arm or door) reaches a specific position, sending an electrical signal.

Compact/Pre-wired Limit Switches

Series Examples: CZ-3, TZ-6

Key Features:​ Small size, come with pre-attached cable for easy installation, also offer water and oil resistance.

Purpose:​ Used where space is limited or for quick installation.

Safety Interlock Switches

Series Example: CZ-93

Key Features:​ Feature a special key mechanism for safety guarding. The machine can only operate when, for example, a guard door is closed and locked, preventing accidents.

Purpose:​ Used on safety doors and protective guards of machinery.

Safety Limit Switches

Representative Series: C4N, C4B-N, C6N, etc.

Core Feature: Incorporates a forced break mechanism. This is a safety design where, even if the internal contacts weld together due to a fault, a mechanical linkage forcibly separates the contacts, ensuring the safety circuit is opened.

Compliance: Meets stringent safety standards (e.g., IEC 60947-5-1).

Typical Applications: Commonly used in equipment requiring high safety integrity levels, such as punch presses​ and robot cell fencing.

Manually Reset Safety Limit Switches

Representative Series: C4N-R.

Core Feature: After a safety trip is activated, it does not recover automatically. The device must be manually reset​ by an operator to restart the equipment.

Key Benefit: This effectively prevents unintended or automatic restart of machinery, significantly enhancing safety.

Micro Switches
